VantagePoint Alliance is seeking a Project Controls / Project Scheduler to manage and oversee all project scheduling and control functions. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in Primavera P6 to provide strategic insights and support project teams, management, and stakeholders through proactive risk identification, performance tracking, and progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, create work breakdown structures (WBS), and establish logical relationships and dependencies between tasks.
- Conduct critical path analysis and monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying potential risks and delays.
- Prepare and publish regular status reports, including earned value analysis, forecasts, and variance reports for project teams and leadership.
- Integrate and coordinate schedules from subcontractors and vendors into the master project schedule.
- Support cost control, change management, and resource allocation efforts to ensure alignment with the overall project strategy.
- Facilitate project scheduling meetings and provide expert advice on schedule optimization and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is often preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project controls, planning, or scheduling role.Proven proficiency and hands-on experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software.Experience with other project management software like Microsoft Project and proficiency in Excel is beneficial.PMP or PMI-SP certification is a plus.Skills and Attributes :

Hourly Range BOE : $55 - $75Per Diem $175 per day
