Hostess- Seasonal

• Responsible for ensuring members / guests receive friendly, attentive and efficient service in the dining room. Responsible for carrying out the philosophy and mission statement of Quail Ridge Country Club.
• Receives guests, inspects, and maintains order and cleanliness
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and positive manner as required
• Checks function sheets and reservations daily against room set-up and employee schedule
• Ensure appearance of personnel and cleanliness in all service areas is up to standard
• Assist dining room managers / front of the house managers with training of dining room staff and ongoing training as assigned
• Review "specials" and conduct a daily / nightly meeting with waitresses, waiters and bus staff
• Works with Clubhouse Managers and Dining Room / front of the house managers on employee policies and training procedures
• Implements bar policies and food service policies assuring standard procedures are followed at all times
• Handles member complaints and reports the problem to manager on duty to prevent reoccurrence
• Assists with recruitment, training, and attitude of employees
• Perform any duties and / or tasks that may be assigned
• High school or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous greeting or hosting guests
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Neat appearance and courteous manner
• Punctuality and a good attendance record are expected
• Provide courteous and appropriate service to our members and their guests at all times
