Pay Rate : $20-24.43 per hour
Description
Team is responsible for the multiple tax related functions to support IRS and State regulatory required tax reporting, withholding payments, and cost basis updates, primarily on behalf of Wealth Management Investment and retirement accounts. The Financial Analyst role within Tax Ops will be responsible for information reporting to the IRS for International and retirement accounts. This role will be responsible for working requests received in the New Service Gateway queue, team email boxes and various exception reports, ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines and requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax forms. Additionally, this role will assist with procedure maintenance, participate in yearly tax form testing and production validation and assist the team in any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications and especially Excel
Proven ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
Excellent organization skills : ability to prioritize and handle multiple job-related duties efficiently while exercising sound judgment to ensure SLA, strict deadlines and business KPIs are met
Proven history of effective ownership and accuracy
Possess the ability to work independently while effectively managing and finding resolution to complex situations
Communicate effectively including excellent listening skills and professional phone / email etiquette
Exhibit professionalism in all situations
Mandatory overtime is required during tax season, which is generally January-April. This may include up to 6-day work weeks and an additional 1-2 hours daily M-F).
