Junior Data Engineer

About the Role

Strategic Legal Practices is looking for a motivated  Junior Data Engineer  who is eager to learn, grow, and be mentored by experienced engineers. In this role, you’ll contribute to building scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that power decision-making across a high-impact litigation firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience, exposure to modern data tools, and guidance from senior team members. You’ll be supported with training, mentorship, and opportunities to take on progressively more responsibility as your skills grow.

YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY GRADUATED OR WILL BE GRADUATING IN THE FALL OF 2025

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with senior data engineers to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytic solutions.
• Learn to gather requirements and translate them into trusted, extensible data models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand how data can drive impact across the organization.
• Support self-service analytics by preparing clean, well-modeled data for analysts and business users.
• Monitor and improve data quality and availability under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist with diagnosing and resolving issues in development, staging, and production environments.
• Contribute to existing codebases (e.g., Python, SQL) and learn best practices for scalable, maintainable engineering.

Salary :  $90,000 – $120,000 annually (depending on experience)
