Job descriptionMonitoring and Troubleshooting : Physical Infrastructure : Manage the physical infrastructure of the data center, including power, cooling, and cabling. Security : Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and threats. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration : Work with other IT staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations. Staying Up-to-Date : Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in data center operations. Technical Skills : Strong understanding of server hardware, networking protocols, operating systems, and virtualization technologies. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Physical Dexterity : Ability to work in a data center environment, including lifting and moving equipment. Communication Skills : Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco certifications) can be beneficial.
