The work involves directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling.

The selected candidate will be the Operations Program Manager leading multiple concurrent Clearwater Programs. This position will be responsible for leading proposal efforts while managing manufacturing execution throughout the period of performance. As part of this role the leader will be responsible but not limited to managing the baseline plan, capacity and resource analysis and the Cost Account Management (CAM) of the projects. This position will be providing direction to a small team of Manufacturing Project Managers working various Clearwater projects.

Basic qualifications include strong leadership skills with project oversight of multiple radar production within the factory, 5 years or more experience or significant familiarity with manufacturing processes and tools : MRP, Proposals, Manufacturing Readiness levels, Data Analytics, MES, Tableau, Materials and Earned Value Management, Configuration Management, etc. Strong presentations skills and Microsoft Suite expertise. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired skills include decisive and accountable, effective communication skills that will translate to various levels of the organization from production employees through executive leadership. In depth working knowledge of program management. Green Belt Certification. Strong leadership skills to lead Integrated Product Teams. Strong Customer Interface skills. Visionary / ability to adapt to ever changing requirements.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level is Secret. Other important information includes the ability to work remotely onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The work schedule for this position is 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
