Senior System Engineer

Evolver is seeking Senior System Engineer to join our team supporting a government customer in Washington DC.

Responsibilities :

The Operation and Engineering Team supports a portfolio of IT solutions including custom developed systems, cybersecurity solutions, network and data center infrastructure, and off-the shelf applications that support our government customer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing enterprise systems including virtual infrastructure, storage, desktops, servers, mobile endpoints, and any Cloud assets for our government client. You will be in charge of all IT related matters within organization and provides technical assistance and support to its users. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide breadth of technologies including Windows servers, virtualization, storage, and network.

Basic Qualifications :

• 8 years of Information Technology experience with Bachelor Degree or 12 years of equivalent work experience
• 5 years of experience developing, mentoring, and growing a system engineering team
• 5 years of experience with Active Directory and related services including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and DFS
• 5 years of experience with User and Computer Account Management
• 4 years of experience with Windows Server 2019 / 2022
• 5 years of experience with Software deployment and installation using SCCM
• 5 years of experience m onitoring servers and service availability using SCOM
• 5 years of experience c reating and maintaining documentation of server configurations
• 5 years of experience with Datacenter virtualization, including VMware VSphere 7 / 8
• 5 years of experience with Clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery
• 5 years of h ands-on experience with storage arrays
• 5 years of experience with Windows 11 deployment and support
• 5 years of experience with Cloud platforms such as M365, Azure, AWS
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft and Third-Party patch management
• 5 years of experience with Load balancers (F5 or Netscaler)
• 5 years of experience with PKI and certificate management
• One of the following : Microsoft MCSE or equivalent, VMware VCP or equivalent
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check
