BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR

90 Hour certification needed for licensing requirements- 45 hours growth and
development 45 hours school age curriculum

Location : PG County MD Francis Scott Key Elementary School

Pay : $19.50

Hours : AM shift 6 : 45am-8 : 30am PM shift 2 : 15pm-6pm

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.

In this role you will :

Manage the day-to-day operations of the site : schedules ratios staffing and documentation

Oversee / facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations

Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards

Make child safety the top priority at all times

Maintain licensing compliance documentation and readiness for inspections

Track and manage site resources attendance and food program requirements

Supervise and mentor your site team providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met

Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events

Build strong relationships with families school staff and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements :

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be at least 21 years old

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs

Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency

Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations (see below)

Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required :

Bachelors Degree (BS / BA in a related field) or Associates Degree (AS / AA in a related field)

A 1-year state or nationally recognized credential (related to school-age care)

Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college / university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)

2 or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
