Location :  Columbia, MD 21046 (Floating to Baltimore MD 21229, Catonsville MD 21228)

Now Hiring : Phlebotomist I – Columbia, MD (Full-Time, Onsite, Floating)

Start Date : Nov 17, 2025

End Date : Feb 16, 2026

Schedule : Mon–Fri, 8 : 30 AM–5 : 00 PM, every other Saturday 7 : 00 AM–11 : 00 AM

Pay Rate : $20-$21.49 / hr

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Columbia Patient Service Center in Columbia, MD, with floating assignments to multiple PSC locations in Baltimore and Catonsville, MD.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
  • Handle pre-op, drug screen, and routine collections
  • Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
  • Collaborate with other phlebotomists at this medium-sized PSC site
  • Manage high patient volume, performing 60–180 draws per day
  • Participate in training and orientation during the first two weeks
  • Travel to floating PSC locations as needed to support staffing coverage

Requirements :

  • Minimum 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience required
  • Experience drawing blood from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Experience with hard sticks, butterfly and straight needles, and various gauges preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • TB test, color vision screening, and vaccinations (FLU, Hep B – optional) required
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation is a must
  • Training will be conducted at the training location.

    This is a 3-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to LabCorp FTE based on performance and experience.
