We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to help them achieve optimal physical function and improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, patient care, and various therapeutic techniques across different settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.

Duties

  • Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapy and case management, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Work in various settings such as clinics, ICUs, geriatrics facilities, or home health environments to deliver care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

    • Requirements

  • A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
  • Experience in case management and familiarity with inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
  • Background in geriatrics or experience working with elderly populations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
