About the Position : We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor with a solid background in Nonprofit Organizations (NPO) and Single Audits. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of audit management experience, demonstrating a successful track record in overseeing and conducting audits for nonprofit entities. In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements, financial reporting, and audit standards related to NPOs is essential for this role. Some Hybrid work options may be available.
Main Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, ensuring strict compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Supervise and manage the planning, execution, and completion of audits, including Single Audits, in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and other applicable standards.
- Analyze and assess internal controls, financial statements, and related documentation to identify areas of risk and potential enhancements.
- Provide guidance and supervision to audit staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and adherence to project schedules.
- Effectively communicate with clients, addressing their concerns and providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards impacting nonprofit organizations and Single Audits.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
- Nurture and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on audit and financial matters.
Qualifications :
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (CPA certification preferred).Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit, with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations and Single Audits.Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience in the field of audit.Thorough understanding of GAAP, GAAS, OMB Uniform Guidance, and other pertinent standards.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in audit software and the Microsoft Office Suite.Some Hybrid work options may be available
