Salary: $17-$22 per hour
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
- Scheduling and/or prescheduling patient appointments.
- Greeting patients and/or their representatives and providing direction as needed.
- Assist patient and/or their representative with completing registration/intake forms (paper and online).
- Answer phones and complete clerical tasks.
- Provide patient appointment reminder phone calls.
- Verification of insurance eligibility/coverage and obtaining necessary preauthorization.
- Identify available programs for uninsured patients, assist patients with completing applications.
- Collecting/processing co-payments, deductibles and/or other types of payments.
- Coordinate care and appointments with other medical offices/facilities.
- Create and manage patient records in electronic record system.
- May be able to travel to community outreach events.
- Work well in team environment.
