Job Summary : Scheduling Resources Manager is responsible for supervising a team of care coordinators while ensuring high-quality, client-centered home care services. This role combines hands-on coordination of care with team leadership, training, and performance oversight. The Scheduling Resources Manager works collaboratively with caregivers, healthcare professionals, clients, and families to promote excellence in service delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of home care coordinators.
  • Responsible for the assigned caseload, ensuring that patients receive the best possible home care services.
  • Assist with scheduling oversight, particularly for high-needs or urgent cases.
  • Collaborate with management to develop policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Generate reports on team activity, service delivery metrics, and outcomes.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex client or family issues.
  • Ensure effective and empathetic communication between coordinators, caregivers, and clients.
  • Maintain successful caseload management and ensure timely and appropriate care for patients.
  • Attend departmental training and meetings to stay updated on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Discuss schedule, availability, attendance, and other important issues with department staff members openly and constructively.
  • Update patient and caregiver records in HHA eXchange accurately and promptly.
  • Verify caregivers’ attendance daily, prioritize staffing cases for no-shows or call-outs based on patient needs.
  • Receive and handle calls, emails, or faxes from contractors and clients requesting information or updates on reports; discuss patient status with nurse care managers.
  • Receive complaints from caregivers about working conditions or policies and collaborate with management to resolve issues in the employee's best interests.
  • Assist with on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and work collaboratively with all team members in the accounting department.   • High School Diploma Required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • General experience in healthcare or a related area preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and internet navigation.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with employees, patients, and their families.
  • Ability to define problems and goals, collect data, establish facts, take action, and address issues.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the department and patients.
  • Physical Demands :

  • Must remain in stationary position for long periods of time at desk or computer
  • Requires occasionally standing, sitting, walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; hearing; talking
  • Work Environment :

    On-site in Brooklyn, NY.  5x per week. Minimal travel to other NYC offices may be required for coverage as needed.

  • Pay Range :   The hiring range for this position is  $70,000.00-$75,000.00 annually.  Various factors will determine final compensation such as a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
