Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders, and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound Meet department goals for efficiency Participate in continuous improvement efforts Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received, and shipped to quality standards Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems Complete all shift documentation / paperwork Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Forklift Operator Requirements : At least three years of forklift experience including Reach experience Longevity in work history Mechanical aptitude Basic math skills Computer and software skills Ability to lift up to 10lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) Ability to lift 11-30lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) Ability to lift 31-50lbs occasionally (1-2lbs per shift) Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time Ability to work in warm environments Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements
