Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 31 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Location : Hollister, CA Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 12-Hour Night Shift | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn settings. Monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor using fetal heart monitoring equipment. Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and related procedures. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Educate and support mothers and families throughout the birthing process and postpartum period. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and outcomes. Requirements : Active California RN License (Required) Experience : 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience, including Mother-Baby / Newborn care Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) STABLE Certification Fetal Heart Monitoring Certificate Strong critical thinking and communication skills Compassionate patient care approach with a commitment to excellence We are an equal opportunity employer.
