DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for routine design calculations and drawing development for the construction, maintenance, and repair of maritime vessels and shipboard systems including structural, propulsion, electrical, and hydraulic mechanics.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE :

0 to 3 years of related engineering, design or construction experience or equivalent experience

\n

\n

\n

\n

Experience with Steel and Aluminum Ship Construction

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n \n

\n \n Naval Architect Specific Requirements :

\n \n Structural Engineer Specific Requirements :

Marine / Mechanical Engineer Specific Requirements :

\n Piping system design

HVAC design

Ship and propulsion system design

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to humid conditions, bright flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud, + 90 dB.

COMPENSATION : Salary range depends on relevant experience.
