Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a major government location. In this role, you will regularly patrol your assigned area, maintain a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a weapon as part of your daily responsibilities. Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for armed personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within and around the location, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behaviors.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and the public.
  • Operate in alignment with protocols for government facilities, including the proper handling and carrying of authorized equipment.
  • Complete incident reports and document observations as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and public personnel, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Support access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entries and exits to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and respond to emergencies or urgent situations following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold an armed guard card or armed guard license.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
