Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a large portfolio of retail and commercial properties for a priority client. The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing shopping centers, strip malls, regional malls, or power centersnot residential or multifamily properties. This position requires strong financial reporting skills, attention to detail in lease management, and the ability to communicate effectively with ownership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of large retail and commercial properties.
- Oversee day-to-day operations for shopping centers and large retail assets.
- Review and manage complex lease agreements (typically 60100+ pages).
- Coordinate vendor relationships, maintenance, and tenant requests.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Financial Management
Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership and investors.Prepare and analyze :Income statements (P& L)Variance analyses (actual vs. budget)Rent rolls and tenant receivablesBalance sheetsExplain financial variances and propose corrective actions.Support budgeting and forecasting activities.Requirements
Confidently present financial information and variance explanations to ownership and key stakeholders.Communicate clearly, professionally, and conciselyboth verbally and in writing.Demonstrate strong organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving ability.Maintain professionalism and uphold client reputation at all times.Minimum 35 years of experience in retail or commercial property management (shopping centers, regional malls, or large commercial sites). THIS IS A MUST!!Strong financial acumen and experience with property-level reporting.Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Valid driver's license and reliable transportationrequired for travel to multiple property sites.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
