Loan Boarding Analyst
The Loan Boarding Analyst is responsible for adding originated and acquired loan products to the loan servicing platform, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with servicing agreements. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial loan terms, documentation, and use of Enterprise software.
Duties & Responsibilities Analyze and interpret loan documents (e.g., promissory notes, loan agreements, TAS) and boards all originated loan products and acquired loans; Review funding details to ensure accurate loan balance setup, including reserves and escrows. Ensures all loan documents are uploaded to Sharepoint Imaging platform and follows up with Closers on exceptions; Runs system reports for applicable data / codes to be boarded to new loan; Performs QC on boarded loans to identify and resolve discrepancies between loan documents and system entries; Prepares funding form to process loan amount, interest paid at closing, escrow and reserve funds on newly boarded and acquired loans; Keeps abreast of new products and ensures proper coding when analyzing loans for boarding to Servicing platform; Reviews loan modification documents to identify system changes required by the modification; submits forms to adjust the loan consistent with the modified terms. Saves File correspondence and other records in preparation for uploading to servicing platform; Monitors and maintains New Loan Boarding shared mailbox; Interacts with Closers regarding delivery of required loan documents to Sharepoint imaging platform.
Qualifications Professional Experience / Minimum Qualifications Two years previous experience in a similar position, preferred; Real Estate experience preferred (Commercial Real Estate experience a plus); Experience in and understand of how loans are set up, the supporting workflow, etc.; Experience reading, reviewing, and comprehending legal documentation, preferably related to commercial loans; Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Enterprise and Sharepoint experience preferred.
