Healthcare Setting : Correctional Facility

End Date : February 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 8-hour evening shifts (3 : 00 pm – 11 : 30 pm), two days per week, every other weekend, rotating Monday & Friday

Guaranteed Hours : 16 hours weekly

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1810-$1950

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Correctional nursing experience preferred

Strong ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmate patients, supporting overall health and wellness

Utilize the nursing process for triage, patient assessment, and care planning

Deliver clinical support for a variety of medical conditions, from minor injuries to complex health issues

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and leverage professional nursing skills

Ensure compliance with correctional facility regulations and healthcare standards
