MIG / FLUX Welder / Fitter on Pinwheel

Pay :  $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Weld Test : 1G-R on pinwheel, 4" or 6" beveled pipe, MIG root, Flux fill / cap on carbon steel

Hours : Monday-Friday 7 : 00AM-3 : 30PM

Responsibilities :

• Ability to produce X-ray quality work using welding processes such as FCAW, GMAW.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, ruler, and levels
• Guide and direct flames or electrodes on or across work pieces to straighten, bend, melt, or build up metal
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding : a layout, positions, aligns.
• Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies
• Fits components together : positions work pieces manually or by using overhead cranes.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
• Set up welding machine and welding gun : assemble / disassemble welding tips.
• Must observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
