About the Role

Our client is looking for a Web Developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to contribute to a platform that truly makes a difference. You’ll take part in new feature development, UI innovation, and performance optimization as we modernize and expand our flagship Badge Platform.

You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product management, and client-support teams to deliver solutions that are elegant, reliable, and secure. They aim to enhance the daily lives of educators and students nationwide.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain our Badge web application and admin sites using TypeScript, React, CSS, PHP, and MariaDB.

Build high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

Participate in new product feature development— from concept through deployment.

Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, designers, and support teams to improve user experience.

Apply LEAN development principles to ensure efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance using Playwright or Cypress.

Required Skills & Experience

3–7 years of experience developing full-stack or front-end web applications.

Proficiency with TypeScript, React, JavaScript, CSS, and experience working with PHP or similar back-end technologies.

Understanding of responsive UI design, APIs, and database integration (MariaDB or MySQL).

Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and commitment to delivering clean, maintainable code.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills; leadership experience a plus.

Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder (we cannot sponsor H-1B or other foreign work permits).
