Central Registration Office Technician
Support and assist the Central Registration Department Call Center as a Registration Technician; connecting consumers with the necessary Behavioral Health Outpatient services.
Location : Philadelphia, PA
Essential Duties And Responsibilities :
- Ability to handle incoming calls in a high volume fast-paced Behavioral Health Outpatient Central Registration Department call center
- Maintain a calm, courteous and accommodating demeanor with a customer satisfaction-focused mindset attitude
- Gather necessary information during call by following program questionnaire to determine callers needs and eligibility of services
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to handle Web programs and Navigate programs during call
- Determine eligibility for services by requesting necessary information and verify information provided
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Medical Insurances Verification Systems
- Create initial Electronic Health Record by entering all data collected
- Update existing information on created records to maintain up to date information
- Provide consumer with appropriate and clear information during call to assure consumer is informed of location, date, appointment time
- Maintain a professional and open communication with departments, administrative support, clinical professionals and outside organizations
- Maintain open communication with internal departments
- Assist and provided caller with other resources and contacts in the community
- Daily review of calls on voicemail / emails received via Comhar Inc. Website Inquiries
- Scan and save important documents into Electronic Health Record
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions and complete task assigned
Requirements :
