Description :
The Response Team Therapist serves as a member of the Behavioral Medicine multidisciplinary inpatient psychiatric treatment team. Their function is to assess and participate in the provision of treatment services for mental health and substance abuse disordered patients. This position works as a liaison between various medical professionals to assist with appropriate level of care recommendations. The Response Team Therapist provides such services as psychosocial assessments, treatment and discharge planning and facilitation of group therapy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Masters degree and Licensed in Social Work or other Licensed Mental Health Professional. Must have been trained to perform Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Suicide Risk assessments. Minimum of two years post-academic experience in the field of treatment. Writing and communications skills as necessary to perform the job. Ability to function as team member with an interdisciplinary approach.
