Description

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Civil Engineer - Stormwater (PE). The position's functions will be facilitated through project work.

1.       Provide technical and thought leadership to Waggoner staff and clients in this discipline area.

2.       Facilitate staff development in this area.

3.       Facilitate the growth and development of this discipline at Waggoner.

• Stormwater Management
• Detention / Retention Pond and Outfall Design & Analysis
• Bridge Hydraulics and Scour Analysis
• Erosion Control Design & Analysis
• Watershed Hydrology
• Watershed Master Planning
• Open Channel Hydraulics Design & Analysis
• Channel Stabilization
• Hydraulic Modeling (HEC-RAS 1D / 2D and LA DOTD HydroWIN, FHWA HY-8 and Hydraulic Toolbox minimum)
• Comprehensive Planning
• Design of Hydraulic Structures
• Floodplain Mapping
• FEMA Regulatory Modeling and Floodplain Management

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Serves as Waggoner’s technical lead in executing the performance of the services included in this discipline area.

Facilitates the growth and development of the discipline at Waggoner.
