Associate Director
The Contracts and Veteran Program Manager manages the Veterans program for the Department of Workforce Services (DWS). This position provides leadership in the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of program performance and service delivery to veterans. The program manager is responsible for developing employer and / or other customer relations and community awareness. This includes working closely with the state's U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) director of veteran employment, the Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, and each of the military branches located in the state. Most importantly, the program manager is responsible for ensuring proper services are being provided to the veteran population throughout Workforce Services. This includes working closely with other division directors and program managers. This position is based in Salt Lake City but will include oversight of programs statewide.
This position will have split responsibilities including providing part-time oversight and assistance with managing various contracts administered by the Workforce Development Division.
