We're looking for a Surgical Support Technician to join our dynamic, mission-driven team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in supporting animal surgery and care, ensuring the highest standards of welfare, safety, and organization.

What You'll Do

Provide daily care and feeding for animals, ensuring health and welfare standards are met

Assist with surgery prep and support-prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, calibration of equipment, transfer and weigh animals and maintain accurate records

Help coordinate and fulfill customer orders; includes selection, packaging and confirming accuracy

• Maintain accurate records for feeding, cleaning and care of animals.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant surgical and facility environment; requires general housekeeping duties.

Monitor supply levels and assist with inventory control

Support anesthesia, surgical prep, and post-operative animal care

Perform general housekeeping duties and documentation tasks

Contribute to a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

High school diploma required.

Lab or animal care experience preferred

A genuine desire to work with and care for animals every day

Interest in animal surgery and biomedical research

Basic math skills required.

Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and organizational skills

Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods

Willingness to work weekends and holidays on rotation as well as overtime as needed

Comfort following written and verbal instructions in English.

Adherence to the company domestic pet policy and biosecurity.
