Job description

Iron Junction Logistics is hiring CDL A OTR Flatbed Drivers in Chicago Heights, IL and Omaha, NE (Midwest & South Central Regions) if you have your own secure off-street parking for the tractor & trailer while on your off time. Drivers will haul railroad & construction materials, vehicles & equipment while driving tractor trailers using flatbeds, end dumps and goose neck trailers. GREAT ANNUAL PAY - TAKE YOUR TRUCK HOME PROGRAM - DAILY PER DIEM - 401K & HSA

Compensation :

  • Average annual pay of current drivers : $105,000
  • Base 62 CPM+ (based on experience)
  • Additional Pay :

Daily per diem each day you work

$45per dayto cover personal costs related to meals, showers, laundry, etc.

  • All miles paid (loaded and unloaded)
  • Guaranteed pay : 200 mile minimum per day you drive
  • Quarterly Incentive Bonus Plan
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

  • Take your truck home program : Only requirement is you have secure off-street parking for both the tractor & trailer during your time off!

    • Qualified examples : Your own place of residence if it can accommodate the equipment or a local Rail Yard we work with if near by

  • No Slip Seating

    • Home Time, Route & Schedule :

  • Schedule : Typically out for 10-14 days at a time
  • Route : Drivers run Midwest and West of the Mississippi
  • Level of Touch : Load and Unload / Secure and Unsecure Load

    • Equipment :

  • Late Model Conventional Tractor Fleet
  • Manual Transmission
  • Outward Facing Cameras

    • Qualifications :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have CDL A licensewith no restrictions
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record within last 24 month
  • Tractor-trailer experience in all 4 seasons required
  • 0 DUI / DWIs in last year
  • No endorsements required
  • Previous machinery hauling experience is a plus
  • Previous oil field trucking experience is a plus
  • Previous over-dimensional experience is a plus
  • Towing / rigging experience preferred
  • Must know how to tarp.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius : IL, IA, NE, IN, OH, MO, KS, OK. Other locations considered.
