Our client is looking for a Textile Designer with experience in rugs. This person will need to have experience with hand tufted and loom-woven rug constructions. They will oversee the trend, color, design research and product development for the handmade rug category. This person will...

• Work with the design teams to create and develop a unique and individual handmade rug line and work with customers on custom projects.
• Meet with sales and customers to review custom projects and new development. Provide design and other meeting materials as require.
• Keep up to date on home décor/rugs color, design and sales trends
• Communicate with overseas manufacturers for the design and product development of new products and product categories
• Work proactively according to development calendar to stay on timelines and work through product approvals
