The Controller oversees the organization’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and audit preparation. The Controller ensures timely and accurate recording of financial transactions; guides staff in adherence to GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards and supports the CFO in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency across the organization.

Who You Are :

• Passionate about reproductive health care and its role in overall well-being.
• A strong communicator who can build relationships across teams.
• Ability to clearly explain complex accounting procedures / data in accessible, understandable terms.
• Experienced in multi-state accounting processes and compliance.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in financial management.
• Experienced in non-profit healthcare or grant funded environments.
• Comfortable with working on a team or independently.

Position Details :

Location :   Hybrid – preferred location being within Raleigh or the Charlotte area.

Position may be located within the PPSAT service area of NC, SC, or VA

Schedule :   Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (40 hours / week)

Travel :    Up to 10% within PPSAT's service area based on operational needs

Compensation Transparency :

PPSAT is committed to equitable and transparent pay practices. This position is aligned within our established pay structure, with an annual salary range of $104,200.00 to $130,000.00. Starting salary will be determined based on experience and internal equity.
