Responsibilities
Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans for assigned patients utilizing in-depth evaluation and physician ordersEstablish realistic objective functional goals based on patient / caregiver goals and overall discharge planSupervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants Rehabilitation Technicians OT students and OTA students on a routine basisEducate patients / caregivers on occupational therapy services treatment procedures and treatment goalsPrepare for client discharge in a timely thorough manner including patient / caregiver education home visit recommendations for home modifications and equipment needs and procurement of recommended equipmentMaintain a working knowledge of and adherence to Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Code of EthicsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or B.S. / M.S. degree in related field with an Occupational Therapy certification from an accredited institutionCurrent license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas requiredCurrent CPR certification requiredMust pass all pre-employment and employment verificationsAbout our Line of Business
