American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for evening shifts with 5+ years of experience and required ARDMS, RVT, and BLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a dedicated vascular ultrasound unit with a daily census of 23 patients and 3 private roomsPatient population includes adolescents through geriatricsAverage of 9 studies per day with staffing ratios of 1 : 3 on weekdays and 1 : 1 on weekendsSpecialized procedures include aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, Doppler, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial / venous scans, and renal artery duplexUse of Philips Epiq Elite and Viasonix Falcon Pro equipmentMedstreaming used for unit documentation and Epic HR experience preferredEvening shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 2 : 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM; with rotating call (7 consecutive days every 4 weeks) and weekend shifts (once every 4 weeks, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM)Block scheduling in placeResponsibilities include performing specialized vascular ultrasound studies and adapting to a fluid, dynamic environmentCare for a wide range of vascular patients including complex surgical casesTeam members may participate in operating room support for carotid endarterectomyGreen scrubs are required but not providedTwo professional references are required for considerationPDF copy of Driver’s License and Social Security Number required for consideration\n \n Requirements\n
