Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel position requiring recent specialty experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

Work is performed in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

Typical contract duration is 13 weeks

Deliver patient care specific to Labor & Delivery including monitoring mothers and newborns

Adhere to hospital and departmental procedures for safe maternal and infant care

Complete documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care teams

Orientation will be provided according to hospital standards

Requirements

Active RN license required at the time of consideration

Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

At least 2 years of overall RN experience preferred

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth; Canadian SSNs not accepted

Certifications from AHA or ARC must be valid for at least the first 30 days of assignment
