Job description

Were hiring a Staff Engineer to lead technical innovation across our AI-driven talent platform. This role focuses on solving complex challenges from intelligent matching algorithms to scalable marketplace infrastructure while shaping how global talent connects with opportunity.

Location : US-based-remote position

What You'll Do

  • Architect and implement core platform features that support AI-powered matching and marketplace dynamics
  • Drive technical strategy and system evolution to support scale and performance
  • Mentor engineers and elevate technical standards across the organization
  • Collaborate with product, data science, and security teams to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions
  • Translate ambitious product goals into practical, scalable systems

    • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 7+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Expert in Python and Ruby on Rails - Must have
  • Proven experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Background in marketplace platforms or complex system design
  • Strong understanding of AI / ML concepts and practical applications
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics
  • Familiarity with global compliance and data privacy standards
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Experience mentoring teams and influencing product direction
  • Bonus : Experience with recommendation systems, publishing technical content, or speaking at conferences
