Overview

Retail Scan Associate (Trenton, NJ 08690) is a permanent PART-TIME role. Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps, throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Responsibilities

  • Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays, in aisle locations, and on aisle end caps.
  • Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in various locations throughout each store.
  • Complete Display Scanning across the entire store each week; this can take several hours.
  • Provide the quantity for about 45% of the products scanned when requested.
  • Assist with Custom Projects as required by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store.
  • Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver dependable, quality-driven work in exchange for independence and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reach up to 6 feet; bend / stretch / stoop / stand.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently; deadline-driven self-starter.
  • Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).

    Grocery Store — Trenton, NJ (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday)

    Drug Store — Robbinsville, NJ (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday)
