Position Overview

Geoff Penske GMC in Shillington PA is in need of a Body Shop Technician. The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing high-quality automotive body repairs refinishing and restoration work in accordance with industry standards and GM guidelines. This role involves diagnosing damage preparing repair estimates restoring vehicle structural integrity and ensuring exceptional workmanship to deliver safe reliable and visually appealing results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle damage to determine required repairs.
• Perform body work including dent removal panel replacement structural repairs welding and frame straightening.
• Prep and refinish surfaces using sanding masking priming and painting techniques.
• Restore vehicles to OEM specifications using proper tools equipment and repair procedures.
• Accurately follow repair orders and maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
• Collaborate with estimators painters and other shop personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations including proper use of PPE and hazardous materials handling.
• Keep up-to-date with industry repair methods equipment and training.
