Location : Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York nursing jobs)

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 21 / 2026)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Healthcare Setting : Labor and Delivery Unit

Shift : 12 Hour Days (07 : 00 AM – 07 : 30 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend / holiday required

Charting System : EPIC

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2160–$2310 per week

Qualifications – Labor and Delivery RN

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP

Fetal Monitoring certification (within past 2 years)

Strong nursery skills required

EPIC charting experience

Facility physical required (cost $96)

Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious documentation needed 10 days before start)

County Residency Restrictions : Candidates cannot reside in Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany counties

Not eligible if employed as staff at this facility in the past year or within AMC network (AMC, GFH, Saratoga, CMH) in the past six months

Responsibilities – Labor and Delivery Nursing Jobs

Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit

Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery

Utilize advanced fetal monitoring techniques

Educate and support patients and families during labor, delivery, and postpartum

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care using EPIC

Provide newborn care and demonstrate strong nursery skills

Maintain compliance with facility protocols and required certifications
