MyTeam Medical Staffing seeks to place 3 Medical Assistants, LPN, or EMT with a reputable medical organization in a variety of clinic.

Primary Care experience preferred but not required. Medical Assistants, LPN, or EMT will have a minimum of 1-year current physician office or clinic experience working as a clinical medical assistant.

Organization is a nonprofit integrated organization serving the tri-county area.

MyTeam seeks to provide Medical Assistants, LPN or EMT whose main goal is to provide the best service to patients by being loyal, dependable, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
  • Vital signs, patient history and medication reconciliation
  • Administer injections including immunizations
  • Maintains a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
  • Obtains vital signs, and reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician.
  • Performs audiometry and vision testing.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A minimum of 1 year current physician office or clinic experience working as a clinical medical assistant
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and a current unencumbered Oregon license
  • Graduate of an accredited EMT program
  • Prefer a current MA credential upon hire, e.g., CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA, etc., or within 90 days of hire
  • National EMT registration
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR (prefer AHA)
  • Excellent communication skills and detailed understanding of patient care
  • Attention to detail, organized, and the ability to multi-task
