Job description5 years hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge / X) in design and operations. Strong knowledge of API proxy development, policies, OAuth2, JWT, traffic management. Proven expertise in Apigee platform migration planning and execution. Experience with backup / restore and disaster recovery for Apigee. Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API security best practices. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Apigee Architect to lead the design, development, and management of API solutions using Google Apigee. The role requires deep expertise in API proxy development, policy enforcement, platform operations, and migration strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X and a solid understanding of the full API lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead API proxy design, validation, and policy implementation.
- Architect, develop, and manage APIs on Apigee Edge or Apigee X.
- Plan and execute Apigee platform migrations with minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage backup and restore strategies for Apigee proxies and configurations.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enforce API governance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, security, and integration issues.
- Document API specifications, standards, and operational procedures.
