Job descriptionFull-Time, Nights 7 pm- 7am; 7 on / 14 off schedule 100% inpatient, two nocturnists per shift IU Health Ball Memorial onsite, and admits to Jay Hospital via telemed. Open ICU : hospitalist manage pressors, but not intubations; Procedures not mandatory, but opportunity to provide if desired; IM residents run codes, rapids Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM / ABFM) Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana Visa sponsorship available; H-1B Experience, preferred Home of Ball State University, offering exceptional education, collegiate sports and entertainment Arts and culture for all ages at the Muncie Civic Theatre , Minnetrista cultural center, David Owsley Museum of Art and one of the largest planetariums in the Midwest Some of Indiana's top-ranked schools, including the Indiana Academy for Science, Math and Humanities, the Burris Laboratory School, Muncie Community Schools and Yorktown Community Schools Ranked by Niche in 2023 as one of the top 20 counties to live in Indiana Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing and camping at the Prairie Creek Reservoir , golfing, or hop on the state's longest span of recreational trails on the Cardinal Greenway Wineries, unique shopping and local cuisine, and outdoor music and food festivals Quick drive to Indianapolis and the suburbs of Fishers and Noblesville, as well as Chicago and Cincinnati

- Take calls from units and new admissions from emergency department or as direct admit
- Average admissions is eight per shift
- Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
- Services include hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage
