Associate Principal Engineer - AI

As a Senior AI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our enterprise AI strategy. You will be responsible for designing and delivering sophisticated AI solutions, high-quality enterprise tools, and platforms. Your focus will be on integrating foundational models and orchestrating intelligent agents to effectively address business requirements while simultaneously enhancing operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Architect & Deploy AI Solutions :

• Design scalable solutions using Generative AI (LLMs, multi-modal models) and Agentic AI (multi-agent systems, autonomous orchestration).
• Build scalable applications and AI / ML pipelines using cloud native platforms like AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Studio / Foundry, or similar enterprise-grade platforms and open-source frameworks.
• Leverage APIs, orchestration frameworks, and cloud-native services to operationalize AI at scale.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with GxP, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this positionis $174,000 - $248,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The base pay offered will take into account the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity, among other factors. In addition to the base salary, as part of our Total Rewards program, Exelixis offers comprehensive employee benefits package, including a 401k plan with generous company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Employees are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program, or if field sales staff, a sales-based incentive plan.
