Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to focus on the PM services of tractors, trailers, liftgates, and reefer units at our Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT.
Shift : Full-Time l Wednesday-Saturday 2 : 00pm-12 : 30am
Pay : $28.00-$31.00 / HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities :
The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as neededAs the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenanceYou will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registrationYou will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machineryYou will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devicesOther duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experienceAbility to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 poundsValid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehiclesMust possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)Preferred Education and Experience :
