Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence. Document all incidents, observations, and / or actions taken during the shift according to site protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Healthcare Site
As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
