We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented team members who enjoy active, hands-on work in a shipping setting.Position SummaryThe Shipping Team Member is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping live insect orders. This role involves handling live insects, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining efficient shipping operations.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle, assemble, and pack insects for shippingAccurately assemble and package live insect ordersHelp with the care and feeding of insectsLabel shipments with correct informationSafely load and unload trucksMonitor and report shipping or inventory issuesMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasOperate basic warehouse equipment (training provided)Meet daily shipping targets with the teamAbility to use a tape gunEnsure the care of all live insectsQualificationsRequired : Ability to handle live insectsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsBasic math skills (counting, labeling, measuring)Good communication and teamwork skillsDependable and willing to learnPreferred : Prior warehouse, assembly, or shipping experienceScheduleSunday – Thursday7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM (hours may vary based on shipping volume and company needs)BenefitsAccrued Paid Vacation7 Paid Holidays (When worked)Medical Insurance Options401(k) with Company MatchWork with a pet-loving, passionate teamAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity EmployerAt-Will EmploymentOffers are contingent on background and reference checksJob duties may change based on business needs
