Overview
Job Duties
Under the supervision of the Center Director, the Behavioral Health Counselor evaluates clients, provides behavioral health services for employees, and participates in behavioral health programs and presentations. Within the established guidelines set forth by the University of Florida Jacksonville Healthcare, Inc. and under the direction of the appropriate Administrator or Manager, ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Provides exemplary customer service and ensures that a high level of customer service is provided by all office / department staff to our patients, who are also our employees.

Experience Requirements
3 years mental Health / social work required
3 years in areas of trauma and grief resolution, along with experience in treating axis II disorders preferred
Education Requirements
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization, preferably dialectical behavioral therapy, or trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
High School Diploma or GED required
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required or at time of hire
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required or at time of hire
