Job description
Position Summary:

We're looking for a fun, driven, and hardworking individual to help quote and sell replacement commercial HVAC equipment. Helping customers find their shiny new Carrier rooftop unit is the name of the game. You will be responsible for email, phone, and walk-in quote requests, as well as any job follow up, including offering alternate proposals, and any order processing necessary. Knowledge of our products and internal systems can be taught, but the ability to adapt, think on the fly, and make your own, informed decisions will be the key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for equipment and accessories on non-plan and spec opportunities received via phone, email, walk-in customers, and other channels.
  • Partner with inside and outside sales teams to provide technical product knowledge and quoting support.
  • Track and log project opportunities using Monday.com to ensure visibility and coordination across the team.
  • Utilize the WebUI system to check stock availability, recommend product substitutions, and generate quotes.
  • Provide product literature and submittals for specified quotes when requested.
  • Support customers with order tracking, logistics coordination, and general equipment sales assistance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that enhance team efficiency and service.
  • Participate in training and product education to expand HVAC product knowledge and share insights with colleagues.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear and professional communication in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Assist with order entry when needed to ensure smooth customer support and project completion.

Knowledge and Experience
  • 2 Year Associate Degree or relevant HVAC experience
  • Familiar with HVAC products and their basic application
  • Detail oriented, accurate, proficient with math
  • Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, and exhibits positive attitude
  • Possesses above average communication skills
