Project Manager (with Heavy Civil background) WANTED in TEXAS!
Job Description :
- Pay Range : Commensurate with industry experience
- Schedule : Typically Monday through Friday, with additional days as needed
- Benefits : PTO starts at 15 days (negotiable), 401k, relocation bonus provided, company truck, and gas card.
- Location : Various locations, primarily based in San Antonio, Houston, or Dallas, Texas. Open to candidates who would be open to relocate to TX. (Applicants MUST already be living in the US and unable to sponsor candidates).
Objective :
The Project Engineer provides essential support to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent. Responsibilities include goal setting, planning, communication, organization, implementation, and tracking to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities :
Organize, review, and distribute project submittalsMaintain updated plan drawings and revisionsCreate and manage all required project logsPerform material take-offsCommunicate effectively with the owner and client representativesCalculate pricing and manage contracts and purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliersSchedule subcontractor work and material deliveriesMaintain an organized work area and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyPrepare reports, business correspondence, and project documentationPresent information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and employeesRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manualsAdditional duties as assignedQualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldThree or more years of relevant experience will also be consideredProficiency in Primavera 3 and 6Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to apply algebra, geometry, and construction math conceptsValid driver’s license for occasional travelStrong problem-solving skills, including the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret complex technical instructions and handle abstract and concrete variablesPhysical ability to navigate construction sites, including overcoming minor obstacles by footManual dexterity for handling items and using tools where necessaryIf interested apply or contact me directly!
