Tax Manager Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee a variety of tax-related tasks, including preparing and reviewing tax filings, providing strategic tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.

Foster strong client relationships by understanding their financial needs and providing tailored tax advice.

Support clients during audits by preparing documentation and resolving issues with taxing authorities.

Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and provide detailed analysis to ensure compliance with changing tax laws.

Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting and advisory functions to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Stay informed on updates to federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure accurate filings and compliance.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively while maintaining high attention to detail.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience handling partnership, individual, S corporation, and C corporation taxes.

Proficiency with tax preparation software such as Lacerte and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, as well as general accounting principles.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex tax issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
