We are currently looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clinical team and ensuring high-quality patient care at our Riverhead location on Long Island, NY.

What You'll Do :

• Guide patients through the rooming process, take vital signs, and conduct vision / hearing tests, recording all necessary patient data in eCW system.
• Perform in-house laboratory tests, collect samples for outside labs (such as Pap smears and cultures), and uphold quality control standards in line with our organizational protocols.
• Maintain a stocked and organized clinical area, ensuring timely disposal of outdated supplies.
• Clean and sterilize equipment, keeping records of each sterilization process.
• Assist with clerical tasks like answering phones, addressing concerns, and managing telephone inquiries appropriately.
• Ensure all necessary logs are maintained accurately.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirement : High School diploma / GED with Medical Assistant Training Certificate.

Preferred Requirement : Associate's degree with Medical Assistant Training Certificate.

Experience : 0-1 year in a related role.

Skills : Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Pay : $20.50 - $22.00 per hour
