Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
• Administer physical therapy techniques centered on mobility, strength, balance, and function improvement
• Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapy goals, discharge processes, and home exercise regimens
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress aligning with regulatory and institutional guidelines
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to streamline coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar accredited degree

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are advantageous but not mandatory
